- Private Session Packages
Do you have a newly rescued dog that is fearful to the world, or you?! Does your dog bark and lunge at other dogs, people skateboards and more…or guard his/her food, objects? Let us help! We have extensive experience and education working with PTSD, aggression, fear and reactivity. In fact, we love working with dogs like this and watching them flourish into confident, happy, family dogs! We have 4 phases as we approach behaviour and create behaviour plans: Assessment: This is the initial session where we get all of the information needed to best help your dog. Background, health information (many behaviour issues are pain related!), past training experience, what your dog loves etc! We also begin simple skills if possible. Mitigation: This includes environmental management. Trying to help prevent your dog from getting into situations where he/she feels threatened, fearful etc. We want your dog to stop practicing the emotion and the behavior as best as possible, by setting up the environment to help him be successful. This helps her feels safe and reduces all of those hormone levels that remain escalated every time there is a reaction! We also talk about how to build confidence with enrichment and other skills. Training: This is the phase where we learn many skills that will begin to help your dog learn to feel different about the things that scare, frustrate or otherwise cause stress when he encounters them. We use force free, positive methods of course and work on the root cause of the emotions causing the behaviour. We begin at levels your dog can handle, setting them up for success. Then slowly, we build on the skills from indoors, to outdoors, adding triggers and decreasing distance. Implementation This is real life implementation! This is where we take you into real life situations and help you learn how to use the new skills you and your dog have learned!! This is an incredibly important step, otherwise you have the skills (or your dog does too!) but knowing when and how to use them needs to be learned too!! ***** When you book, please choose next available date and contact Lisa at 604-836-5948 to find a day and time :-) Payment Plan Packages 3 - Session pkg - $525 5 - Sessions pkg - $695 7 - Session pkg - $825

- Kinder Puppy - Kindergarten for puppies!
We have a new and exciting program that will be launching May… KinderPup!! 9-1 Max 4 dogs Having anew puppy is haaard!!! Let us make it easier with our new program!! Structured off leash play Enrichment Socialization with different surfaces and items Rest Bite inhibition Training new skills: Crate training if desired Sit Down Touch Leave it Drop it Mat work wait Benefits to this program: -Your puppy will build confidence in a variety of ways including building social skills with other puppies. -Play is supervised at all times. What does this mean? Unlike a typical daycare, where puppies are playing in a high state arousal for hours, no down time and high numbers (resulting in the inability to closely monitor body language for fearful puppies)…we have a closely monitored monitored puppy group. -Pups go from off leash play, to down time with enrichment, learning a new skill, nap, socializing with a variety of items and we repeat the process all over again! 4 hours is more than enough time for a young puppy. Otherwise we run through risk of them being over tired and when you get them home, they can really struggle to settle, learn to play too intense with other dogs and can greatly reduce their threshold for frustration when seeing other dogs in leash. Let us provide the best structure for your pup! Please check out the plans we offer for pricing :-)

- Intro to Nose Work - Vernon
In the Intro to Nose Work class, you and your dog will learn about harnessing the power of your dogs nose. Nose Work provides confidence building (is amazing for fearful and/or reactive dogs), enrichment, support for physical and emotional wellbeing and a way for owners to share and connect with other dog owners through a loved sport. Each dog does a 'search' one at a time with no crossover with other dogs if need be. You will learn how to 'read' your dog while they learn to use their nose. By the end of the class set, your dog will have food paired with the scent of Birch oil and will be well on their way to finding hidden scents!
