These are one hour long and usually done in the comfort of your
own home. We can work on a variety of different issues from dog-dog
aggression to basic manners, pulling on the leash, or any other
behavioral issues you may be having.

New Puppy Orientation
Also done in the comfort of your own home!
This one hour private lesson is a must for every new puppy owner!
We help you focus on several very important issues including developing
a soft mouth, socialization, and housebreaking, or any other problems
you may be having with your new puppy. We start you out on the right
paw and get your puppy ready for puppy preschool.

Puppy
Preschool
Duration: 6 weeks.
This is a must for every new puppy and owner. This important (and
fun!) class focuses on bite inhibition (soft mouth), socialization,
confidence building, stopping unwanted behaviour (ie. chewing, nipping,
jumping up, barking), and beginning obedience work. You will have
plenty of time to let your puppy socialize with other puppies in
an off leash and safe environment. It is recommended that your puppy
has its 2nd set of vaccines.

Basic
Manners Level 1
Duration: 6 weeks.
Picks up where puppy preschool leaves off. This class is great for
those dogs who have completed basic obedience before, but need a
tune up! Class size is limited to allow greater personal attention.
Course includes teaching your dog to pay attention to you, walk
on a leash without pulling, heel, sit, stay, stand, and come on
command.
Recommended for pups over 5 months of age.

Basic Manners Level 2
Duration: 6 weeks.
Level 2—Beyond Basics--Pre-requisite—level 1 with Pawsitively
Canine—this NEW program works on more specific obedience cues
including loose leash walking, heel, stay, watch me, and most
importantly, emergency recall, with some beginning off leash
work. All of these cues are worked on extensively with
distractions and challenges!! There is one outdoor field trip
included in this course. Classes are once again kept to a limit
of 6 for excellent personal attention.

Basic Manners Level 3
Duration: 6 weeks.
Above and Beyond...training for the real
world!!—Pre-requisite—level 2 with Pawsitively Canine--This is a
100% outdoor class and is only offered in the spring, summer and
early fall and months. Each week we visit a different location
between the tri-cities and ridge meadows areas. The focus is
working on the most important basics....in the most distractive
environments...this is a fun and challenging class working
specifically on emergency recall, stay, loose leash walking,
distance cues and heel. Some off leash work will begin if dogs
are ready!!

FIESTY FIEDO
CLASSES
January 2010....FIESTY
FIEDO CLASSES....at last, a small, 4-5 dog class to address issues
such as lunging, growling and snapping at other dogs or even
children. These sessions are ongoing, paid for at 6 sessions at a
time....one trainer, one helper, done in a spacious indoor facility
in Maple Ridge, at Be Cuz We Care dog daycare. Positive methods
ONLY are used to help build confidence and use management techniques
to help teach the dogs what is needed to cope in the real world.
Pre-requisite--at least 2 private lessons, approval of trainer, and
acceptance of canny collar (preferably) or gentle leader/halti. For
